"Frankie" Is On His Second Child

(make that third...we bought him used)

Amya's beloved "Frankie" has found a new place to land! ...usually in Nelson's mouth. Nelson loves this guy! He holds on to his neck bolts like handle bars. Today he fell asleep with one in his mouth. It just goes to show that you never know what toy is going to be the favorite!!!

Art: Marbleizing With Shaving Cream and Food Coloring

Amya and Kailey did an art project today! If you want to do it too, all you need is shaving cream, food coloring, tooth picks and paper! (warning: food coloring does NOT come out of clothes)
Drop the color into the cream and marbleize it with toothpicks...you can make swirls, designs or pictures.
Pat your paper into the color, then scrape off the shaving cream (anything flat works, like a popsicle stick).

We made stationary, play money (business card stock) and stickers (labels), but you can also use plain paper, fabric or even paper grocery bags!

CAMPING....

We are half way through our month of camping every weekend! I got this picture from Michael, who promised there were more pictures of the weekend coming. So, I went ahead and posted it, thinking I'd be adding more in a couple hours......there have been no more pictures. So here is a beautiful picture of me eating marshmallows during "Family Camping"!
