We went for a walk last night an waved "hi" to a neighbor. She came over to the fence and said she liked our picture in the paper. We just looked at her with blank stairs....

Turns out we were in the paper! I thought it was kinda weird when that guy was taking pictures of Amya and didn't ask if it was ok....guess he worked for the paper!

Camping!

We went camping this weekend with our friends Michael, Shelly and Kailey and Greg, Kristen and Sadie. We had a blast! (and a bathtub full of dirt upon arriving home)

If Ever There Was A Wuz!

Amya has an affinity for all things Wuzzle! Do you all remember The Wuzzles?...the hybrid animal cartoon of the 80's? Aunt Danielle and Uncle John got Amya this vintage book and some figurines for her birthday. The poor kid has no idea she is living in a time warp and that her old mother used to love the same little characters. It kind of reminds me of the M.Knight Shyamalan movie, The Village. Anyway, I lament. Check out the video!It also reminds me of the video of Henry pointing to all his cars......Cars, Wuzzles, it's all good!

A New Deck

Our friends, Cyd and Dan, are spiffing up our Florida house for us. They rebuilt our deck and are painting the trim and shutters. When it is all done, I'll post more pictures. I wish that deck looked that good when we lived there!
