An Evening At The Sandbar!

Last night our friend, Jen, threw together a little get-together at the sandbar. We barbecued and played in the water. You can't tell from the pictures, but this is actually an island that we had to walk through knee deep water to get to.

Vacation Pictures Complete!

This was the last part of our vacation last month. We hung out with the cousins and Grandma Chris and Grandpa Burt. It was the first time we met little Charlie. He is such a sweet heart. All the kids had fun playing by the pool at the hotel.

Our friend, Shelly, finished her Masters in Education this spring! They threw a little party on Saturday night to celebrate! There were kids everywhere! Great food and company. We had a blast. Congrats Shelly! We are excited we get to hang out with you again! ;)

A Quick Camping Trip!

We got away for a night up to Trout Lake to do a little camping. Grammy and Pappy drove their RV and we took "Sasquatch" and toed a pop up. Once we built the campfire, Amya got excited and said, "Come on! Camping started!"

It was our first time breaking in the 1978 pop-up. I got my own bed!...best night of sleep I ever got camping!

For Fathers Day carol got me this awsome hammock. I've had it up now for a couple weeks and it is now THE place to hang out on at The Shaws....Heres a pic of amya trying to climb up on the "amacka" as she calls it....

4th Of July Fun!

This is the spot we picked to watch the Hood River fireworks. It is a pull out along a scenic road up in Underwood, Washington. It was the first time I've looked down on fireworks!Pappy, relaxin' along the road!

This picture was taken at night with a 15 second exposure, then lightened up. It was pitch black dark out when it was taken. Fun stuff.

We ran into Sadie and Graham for a few minutes.
