10 Pi Party!

Ok! For all you bakers out there....check out my attempt at "baking" We went to a "10 Pi" Party on Saturday night. A guy that Dan works with was celebrating his 31.4 birthday (for all you "non-math" people like me, that is the number of pi to the 10th power). Everyone had to bring a pie...for fear of duplicating another, I made a rice crispy treat pie and Dan decorated it!

Dan Got A Hair Cut!

So, I've been cutting Dan's hair since we started dating...nothing new. Half way through the cut, Amya came running up and grabbed my legs, distracting me...the end of the story is, I cut Dan's ear! We decided to wrap up the hair salon for the moment and clean up the blood (it is well known that head wounds bleed ...a lot). So, Dan decided to go to work and have some fun with his co-workers before we finished the cut. He came home with some good stories of people coming into his office and stopping mid-sentence when Dan turned around. One woman dropped her jaw, paused and said, "New Glasses, huh?"

Anamatronics Are All The Rage!

Amya loves her anamatronic toys. Every day she picks her favorite (out of the dancing monkey, singing Frankenstein, Christmas penguin and Holiday Elmo) to carry about. Today it was the singing and tap dancing penguin (as you can see, we've not gotten anywhere with the bottle thing).

Story Time

If you were to ask Amya what her favorite day of the week is, assuming she could talk, she would tell you it is Thursday! That is story time at the White Salmon library. I snapped a couple pictures, inconspicuously so other parents wouldn't wonder why I'm taking pictures of their kids. Amya could care less if I am present at story time or not. She is in it for the kids!
