You cannot harvest all the wild blackberries growing in Hood River...there are just too many! It is hard for me to walk by them and not stop for a half an hour to pick them...they are FREE! Hello! But you cannot pick berries every time you leave your house. You would get nothing done (but you would have blackberries in your freezer 'till May!). So, we brought our company out the the Indian Creek Trail to help us! Then we turned it into blackberry jam....yum!

Maybe its best I don't live there after all. I would have explosive seed-filled purple diarrhea for three months of the year. But it would be worth it.
I wish John lived there so I could make jokes about him having the blackberry splatters all summer long.
