...I had my last regular Dr. appointment. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home, but the contractions were so strong I had to leave. I got home, called Dan in the middle of his Dr. appointment and told him to come home...it was hospital time! Off we went!

Don"t forget your mom was with you and I was sure that Nelson would be born going over the bridge between WA and OR Of course we did not know that Nelson was Nelson yet. I thought he was a she.Exciting time. This was the first grandbaby I was in actual attendance at. I was "in house" at 8 of the 9 born though HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY Mr. NELSON SHAW
