Neighborhood Concert
Last night one of our neighbors put a chalkboard up in their front lawn that said, "Neighborhood Concert tonight 7:00pm." Well, we had to find out what this was all about. It was a guy playing his guitar, telling life stories and singing folk songs, in the living room. There was a bowl on their dinning room table asking for money for the singer, and everyone left their shoes outside on the porch. An interesting experience!

how many people came? was it weird when it was time for you to leave? Did you leave money? fun.
We stayed in the other room because we had Amya with us and she was playing with toys, so I didn't see exactly how many people were in there, but there was a good sized pile of shoes. :) When he finished a song, Amya would stand up and say, "Yeah!" and clap.
It was an easy departure....Amya started screaming, in a very quiet house. We scooped her up and took off.
It was suggested to leave $10 a person. We left a total of $7 because that is all we had on us!
That seems weird but fun. ~KMT
wow 10 dollars a person..... that is more than going to a movie. I am going to suggest adam do this. I need some extra cash.
Sweet, Kadence is going to do that at your parents place next weekend and earn her keep. Maybe Amya can dance or bang on a pot or something!
For $10 he better strip or something. Or maybe the stories were freaking awesome.
