ASTORIA

We took a soggy trip over to Astoria after Christmas. It has been a bit of a tradition to get away for a couple days during the week between the holidays. While we were there we got to experience a coastal storm....windy and rainy (so windy I thought the roof was going to fly off a shop we were in!).

In the winter you can drive on the beach! Nelson loved this part...especially when Dan drove through the beach streams!

We went to a restaurant with a "see-through" floor on a pier. Amya thought for sure she saw a shark!
