I snapped this picture just as a huge wave crashed into a rock and soaked some people down the boardwalk. Amya wasn't quit sure what she thought of it until the people started laughing. She made her peace.
This is Cannon Beach, a pretty recognizable location along the Pacific coastline.

It was a surprize. He told me not to plan anything for that Sat. Then slowly let me in on it...Thur. he told me to pack a bag, Fri. he told me we were leaving early the next day. Sat. morning he told me to throw in some more clothes. He even had dinner reservations for Sat. night!
Those pictures are so perfect, they almost don't look real! How am I going to get Kevin to look at this blog in time to plan for my Birthday?! (which I really want to spend in Mackinaw, but dinner out wouldn't be so bad!).
